Legislative campaigning

Campaigns designed to amend or promote legislation in Parliament.

While the Government has a significant majority in the House of Commons there is still plenty of scope for successfully amending or promoting legislation in both Houses of Parliament.

A detailed understanding of how the government manages the development and passage of legislation is crucial, such as when to engage with ministers or the civil servants managing a Bill.

Parliamentary procedures are also often obscure.  The right timing and approach is important in being able to effectively influence the legislation making process.

With decades of experience successfully campaigning to change or argue against proposed legislation, I can provide the insights, advice and support you need to engage in the process professionally and with impact.
